had a great dinner last night...

emma's and laura's spinach creation
some ice cream
mike's white wine
great fun with wii
mike's insane innate ability in driving games

killer white wine...

oh wow... year 3... my final year and it feels like I just looked at my UNI's prospectus yesterday

everything in life is just too unpredictable.. If one can say his life is gonna be a breeze, I'd ask him, "are you our new messiah?"

we look for something concrete in life, be it a security in somebody just like how a bank gets a solid charge over your house in mortgage loans or a good job prospect or even a solid track record in academics, and hope that this materialises fruitfully and remains perpetual (in concept).

then we are flung out of our comfort zone when a crack surfaces, and we cry for help when the crack widens and when the pillars shake we know it's too late and ponder upon the better times when it was safe, or so we believed, and wish that things could be back to normal.

No matter what stage you are at in life, whether you have just been flung out of comfort zone or whether you are now crying for help, nobody hears your desperate cries, or would be there to tell you like how parents did previously that the wolves would stop plundering upon the foundations to shake your pillars. Your love ones find it a chore to tell you that the skies are still blue and that hope is there. Your friends enlighten you with their little stories on how people make a successful comeback to shut you up about your silly reminiscences about the past. Your parents tell you it is fine and that you should be able to climb back on your feet but they are actually shaking their heads in disappointment.

Delusional is what you are when you tell yourself that you are backed with a thousand others who support your cause and sympathise with your pathetic outcome.

But reality strikes and you are faced with many choices, and you evaluate them, laugh at them in front of others, reassure yourself and try to forget it. Yet as the night beckons, you hide under your duvet thinking it is the safest haven ever and wish for all that to go away.

Welcome to Procrastination. We all do it well but we just do not know when to snap out of it.
